Evening Trips: Our Most Popular Choice
Most people book an evening trip, and for good reason. You see the dunes in the golden light, watch the sunset and finish with dinner and shows under the stars. All evening trips run from about 2 PM to 9 PM.
Evening Dubai Safari, AED 80
This is the trip that gives you the most for the money. The evening Dubai safari comes with 4x4 pickup, dune bashing, a camel ride, a buffet dinner and four live shows. For a classic first desert trip, start here.
Evening Desert Safari, AED 100
For a little more, you get a few extras, such as sandboarding and henna, along with a BBQ dinner and pickup in an air-conditioned car.
The VIP Trip at AED 120
Prefer a little more comfort? The VIP Dubai safari gives you VIP seating, a BBQ buffet and four shows. The extra cost is small, and the evening feels calmer.
The Premium Trip at AED 230
For the most comfort, choose our premium desert safari Dubai package. It comes with premium service at the camp, and a quad bike can be added on top.
If You Want Some Speed
Some guests want more than a ride in the back of a 4x4. These packages are for them.
Safari With Quad Bike, AED 160
It's the full evening safari with a quad bike ride added. Timing is the same, about 2 PM to 9 PM, and groups of friends love it.
Buggy Plus Quad Bike at AED 200
Why choose between a buggy and a quad? Try both. The buggy and quad bike safari includes helmets and safety gear, with flexible timing.
The Hummer Trip at AED 140
Riding over the dunes in a Hummer feels very different from a normal 4x4. Our Hummer Dubai safari runs from about 2 PM to 9 PM, with the usual camp, dinner and shows at the end.
Early Starts and Late Nights
Sunrise Desert Safari Dubai, AED 140
If you love quiet mornings, the sunrise desert safari Dubai trip is for you. It runs from about 8 AM to 11 AM, with stops at the best photo points, plus water and soft drinks. You're back before lunch with the rest of the day free.
The Overnight Trip at AED 260
For the full desert experience, stay the night. Our overnight Dubai safari runs from around 2 PM until 9 AM the next morning. It includes the evening programme, camping, stargazing and breakfast.
Drive Yourself for AED 40
Got your own 4x4? The self drive safari is just AED 40 per person. You meet us at our parking area at about 3 PM, and you're done by 9 PM. It's the lowest-cost way to enjoy the camp, dinner and shows.

What's Included in Every Dubai Desert Safari
No matter which trip you choose, some things never change. Our camps are built in a traditional Bedouin style, with low seats, warm lighting and lots of room. There are always veg and non-veg dishes at dinner. Pickup and drop-off read more are confirmed 24 hours before your trip, so you know exactly when to be ready.
We also run trips from Abu Dhabi for AED 140, plus city tours of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Hatta, if you'd like to see more of the UAE.
How the Evening Goes
Your driver picks you up in the early afternoon. Once the city is behind you, the road turns to sand. The driver lets some air out of the tyres, and then the dune bashing starts. The 4x4 climbs each dune, tips over the top and slides down the other side. It's a bumpy ride, but most people love it.
After that, there's a sunset stop on top of a big dune. From there, you head to the camp for a camel ride, dinner and live shows. By about 9 PM, you're on your way back to your hotel.
A Quick Word on Safety
Our drivers do this every day and know the dunes well. You wear a seatbelt the whole time. If you feel car sick easily, eat light and sit in the front. If you're pregnant, have a bad back or have a baby with you, tell us when booking, and we'll suggest the best package.

Why pick the Hummer?
If you want something different from a normal 4x4, yes. The Hummer is big and powerful, and the ride feels very different, and it makes for great photos.
What's the best trip for a family?
The Evening Dubai Safari at AED 80 or the VIP trip at AED 120 work well for families. Children enjoy the camel ride and the shows.
Is hotel pickup part of the price?
Yes, pickup and drop-off come with every guided trip. The self drive package is the only one where you drive yourself.
Is there a dress code?
Light, loose clothes and comfortable shoes are best. In winter, a light jacket is a good idea for the evening.
Do you take large groups?
Yes, just tell us how many people are coming and we'll plan the cars.
